Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Cabinet Assembler/General Labourer to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling kitchen cabinets and supporting various general labor tasks on-site. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, basic carpentry skills, and the ability to work with hand and power tools in a fast-paced environment. Experience in construction, woodworking, or related trades is highly valued. Duties
- Assemble kitchen cabinets according to schematics, blueprints, or schematics provided
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install components accurately
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure precise assembly
- Perform heavy lifting and material handling safely throughout the job site
- Support general labor activities such as site cleanup, material movement, and equipment setup
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Experience
- Prior experience in cabinetry assembly or general construction is preferred
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Knowledge of woodworking, carpentry, or related trades such as restoration or drywall installation is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting and work safely in physically demanding environments
