The Opportunity
We’re looking for a hands-on, commercially minded hospitality leader to take the helm of one of our hotel properties. You’ll lead a tenured team across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Sales/Marketing, with full P&L ownership and direct access to Atlas Capital’s leadership team.
This is a defining role for an ambitious operator. You’ll have the ability to set strategy in consultation with head office, the support to execute, and a clear runway to make the property (and one’s career) stand out.
What You’ll Own
- Full P&L responsibility for the hotel and restaurant
- Day-to-day operations across all departments
- Revenue strategy, distribution mix, and rate positioning, in partnership with the asset management team
- Guest experience and online reputation across all review channels
- Team leadership and development
- Capital project planning and execution alongside Atlas leadership
- Compliance with WorkSafeBC, fire and life safety regulations, and BC employment standards
- Forecasting, reporting, and budget delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive hotel operations leadership experience, including at least 2 years as a GM or AGM (second in command), Hotel Manager, or Director of Operations at a comparable property
- A strong commercial lens is a plus, with working knowledge of Revenue Management, digital marketing, and hotel accounting
- A track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- Familiarity with hotel PMS, revenue management, and distribution systems (e.g., Visual Matrix, SiteMinder)
- Experience operating within a major hotel brand’s quality and reporting standards
- An ownership mindset – you treat the asset like it’s yours
- Canadian hospitality experience preferred
