Professional Dog Groomer (Independent Contractor)
Location: 19951 56 Ave, Langley, BC (Must be local or have a highly reliable commute)
Contract Term: 1 Year Compensation: 45% Commission per dog + 100% of your tips

The Opportunity
We are looking for a talented and passionate Professional Dog Groomer to join our team on a 1-year independent contractor agreement. If you have an eye for detail, a gentle touch with dogs of all temperaments, and want to build your business alongside ours, we want to hear from you!
Since this is a commission-based contractor role, your earning potential scales with your efficiency and skill. You focus on doing what you do best—making dogs look and feel amazing—and we provide the clients and the space.
What You'll Do
- Perform full-service grooming for various dog breeds according to client requests and breed standards.
- Conduct pre-grooming consultations to understand client preferences and assess the dog's coat and skin condition.
- Safely bathe, blow-dry, brush, clip, and scissor-finish dogs.
- Perform nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland expression as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary workspace.
- Communicate warmly and professionally with pet parents.

Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional dog grooming experience.
- Portfolio: Must be able to provide photos of your recent grooms (various breeds and styles).
- Location: Must reside in Langley, BC, or have a guaranteed, reliable commute to our salon.
- Equipment: As an independent contractor, you must provide your own professional grooming tools (shears, clippers, blades, etc.).
- Skills: Patience and excellent animal handling skills; able to manage dogs of varying sizes and temperaments.
- Status: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and registered to operate as an independent contractor/business.
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
