Your future role on our team
As an Intermediate Environmental Project Leader, you’ll help deliver a wide range of environmental projects in the industrial (electrification and power, mining and linear development), commercial and private sectors. Your work will include biophysical evaluations, impact assessments, and approval and permit applications.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll play a key coordination role and support project managers in delivering mandates, while progressively developing your project management skills.

- Support project managers in planning and executing projects, including proposals, work plans and budgets
- Assist with client-facing activities, including communications, follow-ups and maintaining strong relationships
- Help track budgets, monitor schedules and follow up with project performance
- Coordinate project tasks and support collaboration among team members and disciplines
- Review technical deliverables to ensure quality, consistency and compliance with requirements
- Lead and participate in field surveys (fauna, flora, aquatic environments, soils and ecosystems)
- Contribute to environmental impact assessments and related studies
- Help prepare environmental permit and authorization applications
- Develop methodologies, prepare sampling plans and oversee data collection and validation
- Draft and review technical reports (inventories, baseline studies, environmental assessments)
- Support regulatory applications for land use
- Participate in continuous improvement, innovation initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team

Summary of certifications and job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an environment-related field
- From 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in environmental project delivery
- Initial experience or strong interest in coordination, task management or project support roles
- Professional designation (or eligibility), such as Professional Biologist or equivalent
- Experience in field surveys (aquatics, fauna, flora, ecosystems, soils)
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite
