Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across Ontario, ensuring timely deliveries and loads while maintaining high safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of freight handling, vehicle operation, and safety protocols, with experience in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair being a plus. Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary
- Ensure all cargo is secured properly before transit to prevent damage or accidents
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs or maintenance when needed
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with transportation regulations
- Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel to coordinate pickups and deliveries
Requirements
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, freight handling, and heavy equipment operation preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus
- Strong attention to safety protocols and detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during routes
- Physical ability to load, unload, and secure freight, including lifting heavy items as required
- Prior experience with freight transportation or logistics is advantageous
Pay: From $200.00 per day
