What this role is
You are the licensed backbone behind every personal insurance policy CavaIt places renters, auto, home, life, and gig income protection. You advise, you place, you make sure everything is compliant, and you make sure our customers walk away with coverage that actually fits their life.
This is not a call centre role. You're joining a small team building something new. You'll have real input on how our product works, how we talk about coverage, and how we build processes that scale. If you want to do the same thing every day inside a big brokerage, this is not it. If you want to help build a better version of the industry you already know, this is exactly it.
What you'll do
- Advise customers on personal lines coverage renters, tenant, auto, home, life, and gig income protection and make sure they get the right product for their actual situation
- Place and bind policies through our carrier and brokerage partners, accurately and compliantly every time
- Make sure every transaction meets RIBO requirements and regulatory standards you own compliance on the personal lines side
- Work directly with the product team so the dashboard gives sound, accurate advice your knowledge shapes what the product says to customers
- Be the human expert customers can reach when they need one claims questions, policy reviews, renewals
- Build the playbooks and processes we'll use to scale personal lines you're not just doing the job, you're defining how it gets done
Who you are
- You hold an active licences or you're eligible to register under our brokerage partner and ready to do so immediately
- You know personal lines you've placed real policies, dealt with real claims, and you actually understand what you're selling
- You explain things simply. You don't hide behind jargon and you don't oversell you tell people what they actually need
- You're comfortable in an environment where the process doesn't exist yet because you'll be the one building it
- You take ownership when something needs to get done, you don't wait for someone to assign it to you
- Bonus: you've worked in a digital-first or direct-to-consumer brokerage and you know what good looks like

Pay: $37,500.00-$100,000.00 per year
