Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, managing guest interactions, and supporting the overall dining experience. Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred, and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus. The Server will play a vital role in delivering memorable hospitality while maintaining efficiency and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS if available
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality and adherence to food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas according to health regulations
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
- Manage guest inquiries or complaints professionally to ensure a positive experience
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; knowledge of the food industry is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is desirable
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with guests effectively
Pay: $16.00 per hour
