Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist with hands-on experience operating manual milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and other machine tools. The ideal candidate must have their own set of tools and gauges and be capable of producing precise metal components according to technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manual milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and other machining equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to produce accurate parts.
- Set up machines and tools for production runs, ensuring precision and quality.
- Use personal gauges and tools for measurements, alignment, and verification of parts.
- Conduct routine maintenance and adjustments on manual machines.
- Inspect finished parts for quality, tolerance, and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a manual machinist with milling, lathe, and drill machines.
- Must have own set of tools and gauges.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Attention to detail, precision, and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety standards in a machine shop environment.
