GFR Pharma is a privately held manufacturer of natural health products. With the continued growth of our business, we are seeking to hire a “Packaging Operator” to join our Production team on the afternoon shift.
The position requires a person that (but not limited to):
- Demonstrates attention to detail, ensuring quality product meets Work Order specifications.
- Reports any non-conformances immediately to the Lead Hand or Supervisor.
- Maintains a tidy/clean area for safe passage through assigned area during runs.
- Ensures equipment is operating safely and properly.
- Co-operates with co-workers and demonstrates a positive attitude.
- Follows GMP and safety procedures.
- Assist in other areas of Production when required.
NOTE: This position works with dusty powders; respirators and masks are provided for your safety.
Requirements:
- Able to lift, up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to follow safety procedures.
- Able to work within a powder environment (PPE provided).
- Fluent in English, verbal and written.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment considered an asset.
Shift: Monday to Friday - 2:00pm to 10:15pm
Rate: $18.82 per hour plus .50 per hour afternoon shift premium.
