Sagen is seeking a Sales Enablement Manager to drive sales effectiveness and optimize productivity across the regional and national sales teams. This role sits at the intersection of sales strategy and field execution; translating Sagen’s value proposition, sales methodology and go-to-market priorities into the tools, systems (CRM), training, content, and processes required to win in the market.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for someone who is comfortable working with high performing sales teams and enabling them to eliminate administrative friction and focus on cultivating deep customer relationships and delivering exceptional experience at every touchpoint.
Here is where you will be focusing to ensure your success
Sales Methodology & Processes
- Customize and drive sales methodology and processes to ensure consistency in how sales teams’ position Sagen’s solutions across customer segments.
- Develop and maintain the sales playbook (sales methodology), ensuring that it is regularly updated to align with business goals.
- Assess sales processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance sales productivity and effectiveness across regional and national teams.
- Provide regular reporting on sales activities and performance and use data-driven insights to recommend improvements.
Optimizing Sales Operations
- Operationalize sales methodology and processes through CRM optimization and workflow automations.
- Design and deploy CRM enhancements to eliminate administrative friction, allowing the sales organization to focus on high-value, proactive selling.
- Translate CRM business requirements from sales to the IT Administration team to maintain a high-utility CRM environment, focusing on the deployment of enablement-driven features, and streamlined processes.
- Partner with sales leadership to drive adoption of the sales methodology, CRM and embed core methodologies into daily workflows and optimize customer-centric outcomes.
Performance Effectiveness
- Track and analyze the adoption and effectiveness of sales technology platforms (CRM) and methodologies ensuring technology investments are delivering high ROI.
- Design and maintain high impact dashboards and KPI’s within the CRM ecosystem (Salesforce) to drive accountability and transparency across the sales organization, ensuring cross-functional data integrity and alignment.
- Support with Quarterly Sales reporting processes and Annual Planning leveraging automation tools, and the optimized CRM.
- Provide regular reporting on sales activities and performance and use data-driven insights to recommend improvements.
Training & Support
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the CRM and all sales technology and processes, providing strategic guidance to empower sales teams and the broader organization.
- Support the development and delivery of sales training programs, to new hires and existing staff, enhancing the team’s skills and knowledge of our sales methodology, ensuring consistent use of sales tools within a remote workforce.
Sales Content Management
- Develop and manage a centralized repository of high-impact sales content (e.g., pitch decks, scenario scripts, sales templates, data insights, etc).
- Develop persona-specific content for Sagen’s key customer profiles ensuring messaging reflects Sagen’s differentiated value proposition
- Maintain and improve resources housed in the sales intranet/hub (e.g., templates, tools, playbooks) and facilitate peer sharing of best practices.
Field Sales Support
- Provide support for lender meetings, presentations, account planning, and quarterly reviews
- Act as a go-to resource for sales team members seeking support with tools, systems, and process questions.
What we are looking for:
- +5-8 years of experience in sales enablement or sales operations or a related role in a financial services setting.
- Experience with CRM systems, sales methodologies, and sales performance optimization. Salesforce knowledge would be an asset.
- Proficiency in sales analytics and reporting tools to drive data-driven solutions.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to change with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines. Strong communication and presentations skills, with the ability to create compelling sales and training materials. Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate at all levels of the company.
- Salesforce knowledge would be a strong asset.
- Experience conducting market research and analyzing customer needs to support go-to-market strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- Experience in mortgage insurance underwriting, and product knowledge is preferred.
- English / French bilingual skill is an asset.
This position requires work from our Oakville office (4 days per week) but offers a flexible hybrid work model that allows employees to work remotely from their home office (1 day per week).
