We are currently looking for a Distribution Supervisor to join Radiant and be part of our dynamic team.
LOCATION: 1280 Courtneypark Dr E, Mississauga, ON L5T 1N6
SHIFT: 10:00PM - 6:30AM
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Distribution Manager to oversee distribution center operations.
- Direct, train, coach and monitor employees in standard operating procedures and safe work practices.
- Maintain the highest levels of customer service to internal and external customers to meet and exceed their needs.
- Schedule employees to complete all projects within daily volumes and customer expectations.
- Communicate achievable benchmarks for efficiency, accuracy and productivity to the employees. Measure these benchmarks against established objectives and internal KPI’s.
- Help maintain a tour ready facility by ensuring a clean, organized and working distribution center.
- Ensure compliance of all health and safety regulations. Address and / or report any issues requiring attention. Track all incidents and accidents. Complete appropriate paperwork as required.
- Track attendance. Review and approve time off requests and exceptions.
- Monitor day-to-day order fulfillment processes. Recommend improvements to increase productivity and profitability.
- Coordinate claims investigation with customers and the inventory team.
- Correspond with and update customers / customer service on order status, priority orders, and backlogged orders. Manage rush orders, obtain required documentation, and process specific customer requests.
- Ensure compliance with all customer and regulatory programs, procedures and requirements.
- Other duties and assignments as required.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Warehousing / Distribution in order processing in a 3PL warehousing environment.
- Prior leadership / supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety practices in a warehouse environment.
- Valid current MHE Certificate in Order Picker, Reach Truck and Counterbalance.
- Ability to manually lift / carry product / boxes of various sizes up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehousing methodology, RF Scanners and inventory management practices.
- Knowledge of regulatory regulations is an asset i.e. GMP, AIB.
- Working knowledge of various WMS. Knowledge of Koerber / HighJump is a definite asset.
