We are seeking an experienced Strata Accounting Lead to oversee the accounting functions of our strata management division. This is a key role requiring strong expertise in trust accounting and compliance with BCFSA regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile strata trust accounts in compliance with BCFSA, and applicable legislation
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements for strata corporations
- Manage full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, journal entries, reconciliations)
- Oversee online banking activities and transaction reporting
- Maintain audit-ready financial records and clear transaction trails
- Set up new properties and budgets in Yardi
- Collaborate with property managers and administrative staff across departments
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in trust accounting (strata, property management, or real estate preferred)
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and double-entry bookkeeping
- Working knowledge of BCFSA trust accounting rules
- Experience with Yardi or similar software
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable

Work Environment
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

- Limited hybrid flexibility may be considered after onboarding and demonstrated proficiency
