We are seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Services Manager to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Financial Services Manager plays a critical role in the vehicle sales process by assisting customers with financing and leasing options, presenting protection products, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. This position works closely with the sales team, lending partners, and customers to facilitate seamless vehicle deliveries and maximize dealership profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Present and explain financing, leasing, and insurance options to customers.
- Secure vehicle financing through established lender relationships.
- Offer and sell extended service contracts, protection packages, GAP coverage, maintenance plans, and other aftermarket products.
- Prepare and accurately complete all finance and insurance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, lender, and dealership regulations and policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions.
- Review customer credit applications and structure deals appropriately.
- Collaborate with sales managers and sales consultants to finalize transactions efficiently.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism throughout the delivery process.
- Achieve and exceed finance, product penetration, and profitability targets.
- Stay current on automotive financing programs, lender requirements, and industry trends.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in automotive finance and insurance (F&I), automotive sales management, or a comparable role with a strong financial services, lending, banking, credit, or insurance background."
- Strong knowledge of automotive financing, leasing, and protection products.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability objectives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems and finance software.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a dealership environment.
- Experience working with prime and sub-prime financing sources.
- Knowledge of manufacturer finance programs and incentive structures.
