Dream Lounge Cannabis is seeking a reliable and knowledgeable Budtender to join our team. This role is focused on delivering excellent customer service, keeping up to date with the latest & greatest cannabis products, maintaining an organized retail space, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide knowledgeable guidance on products
- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, including strains, formats, and effects
- Process sales transactions accurately and complete daily cash-outs
- Restock and organize inventory to ensure a clean retail environment
- Adhere to all ID verification and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or customer service
- Genuine enthusiasm for cannabis and solid understanding of current products and trends *training provided*
- Must really enjoy chatting with lovely humans - strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self directed & dependable.
- Detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash and perform basic POS functions accurately
- Must be 19+ and hold (or be able to obtain) BC’s Selling it Right certification
