Assistant Manager
Build a Career. Build a Community. Build Something Different.
At Evolve Strength, we don't just operate gyms. We build world-class fitness communities where members, practitioners, and staff thrive together.
We're looking for an Assistant Manager who leads from the front, takes ownership, and is passionate about creating an exceptional experience every single day. This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop into a General Manager and eventually a corporate leader within one of Canada's fastest-growing premium fitness brands.
What You'll Do
As Assistant Manager, you'll work alongside the General Manager to ensure every aspect of the facility operates at the highest standard. You will help lead the team, support operational excellence, and create an environment where both members and tenants love coming to work and train.
Your responsibilities include:
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and developing an exceptional front-end team.
- Lead by example and help create a positive, high-performance culture built around accountability, professionalism, and hospitality.
- Deliver an outstanding member experience by resolving concerns quickly and creating memorable interactions.
- Support our practitioners and tenants to ensure they receive exceptional service and operational support.
- Help oversee the daily operations of a premium fitness facility, ensuring cleanliness, presentation, safety, and equipment standards are consistently exceeded.
- Support scheduling, staffing, and daily operational priorities.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and brand standards are consistently followed.
- Act as an ambassador for the Evolve Strength brand both inside and outside the facility.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and member experience.
- Learn directly from Evolve's corporate leadership team through ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development.
