Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the dispatch department
- Coordinate and ensure the smooth transition between morning and night shift opeartions team
- Utilize Truckmate System (TMW) and Isaac (ELD) to track and manage shipments
- Monitor drivers, warehouse activities and other paperwork to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Double check the customs paperwork such as ACE, ACI, PAPS, PARS, Manifest prepared by customs/dispatch to ensure the 100% accuracy
- Supervise a team of dispatchers and custom specialist, providing guidance and support
- Handle escalated customer inquiries or issues related to loads, delays and other arising issues.
- Conduct data entry and generate reports for Operations Manager's review
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of fleet management and transportation operations
- Proficiency in using Truckmate (TMW) or similar software
- Familiarity with Isaac, TGI or other similar tracking platforms
- Proficient in Customs Related documents such as ACE Manifest, ACI and Bonds
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lead the night shift
