We're looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Customer Care Representative to join our team. While previous veterinary experience is an asset, we are happy to train the right candidate. A strong background in customer service, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude are the keys to success in this role.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and compassionate support for their pets.
- Greet clients and patients with a warm, welcoming, and professional attitude.
- Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and communicate with clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and help manage the daily appointment flow.
- Prepare treatment estimates, invoices, patient forms, and other administrative documents.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update client information.
- Process payments and assist clients with billing inquiries.
- Assist with patient admissions and discharges.
- Help keep reception, exam rooms, and common areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Stock exam rooms and hospital supplies as needed.
- Assist with laundry, light housekeeping, and general hospital maintenance to support the veterinary team.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient hospital environment.
- Provide administrative support to veterinarians and veterinary team members as needed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- The ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional during emotionally challenging situations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Experience in a veterinary clinic or knowledge of animal care and veterinary terminology is considered an asset but is not required.
