We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry analysis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Lead negotiations to secure new contracts and expand existing accounts
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support business growth initiatives
- Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track progress and forecast revenue
- Coordinate cross-functional teams on project management activities related to client onboarding and service delivery
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and reports for prospective clients and internal stakeholders
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging markets to identify strategic opportunities
Experience
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles in B2B and Retail environments, ideally in Cannabis or CPG
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully
- Experience in project management, demonstrating the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Familiarity with marketing strategies and tools, including digital marketing channels
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms for managing client data and sales activities
- Knowledge of customer relationship management principles to foster long-term client partnerships
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
