Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Drafting Person to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics that support various engineering and construction projects. Your expertise inTrimble / Tekla software and drafting techniques will be essential in translating conceptual designs into accurate, detailed plans. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Trimble software , Revit,
- Prepare comprehensive schematics, layouts, and construction documents aligned with project specifications.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to interpret design concepts and produce precise drafts.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in creating visual presentations, including 2D animations when required, to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Maintain organized digital files of all drawings and project documentation for easy access and updates.
- Support site visits by providing detailed plans that facilitate smooth construction workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience in drafting within the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit,SketchUp, NavisWorks, SolidWorks, and familiarity with Schematics.
- Strong understanding of drafting standards, technical specifications, and construction processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and convert concepts into accurate plans.
- Experience working with construction teams or on-site projects is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of 2D animation techniques is a plus for creating engaging visual presentations.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
