We're a well-established and busy pastry shop in Nepean looking for a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. If you have a passion for beautiful, high-quality desserts and take pride in your craft, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Decorating cakes and pastries to a high standard of quality and presentation
- Writing messages and applying custom designs based on customer orders
- Working with fondant, buttercream, ganache, and other decorating mediums
- Collaborating with the team to fulfill daily and special orders on time
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in cake decorating or a professional bakery/pastry setting
- Strong attention to detail and a good eye for design and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Availability to work early mornings and weekends
- Formal pastry or culinary training is an asset but not required
