We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Concrete Finisher to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in all areas of concrete work and be able to complete projects safely, efficiently, and with high-quality workmanship.
The candidate must be knowledgeable in all duties related to concrete finishing, including forming, rebar installation, pouring, leveling, finishing, curing, and repairs. Experience in residential and commercial concrete projects is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, set up, and finish concrete surfaces for residential and commercial projects
- Install and remove concrete forms and rebar
- Pour, level, smooth, and finish concrete using hand and power tools
- Perform broom finish, power trowel finish, edging, jointing, stamping, and sealing
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and site layouts
- Assist with concrete forming, grading, and site preparation
- Operate power tools and construction equipment safely
- Complete concrete repairs, patching, and restoration work as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Follow company safety procedures and project timelines
- Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of concrete finishing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of all concrete finishing procedures and techniques
- Experience with rebar installation, forming, and concrete placement
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when required
