Flatbed Driver Wanted – Canada/U.S. Cross-Border (North Bay / Mattawa Area)
We are looking for an experienced, professional flatbed driver for consistent Canada/U.S. work. This is a well-maintained, driver-respected operation with steady miles and fair pay for all aspects of the job.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years Class AZ / Class 1 driving experience
- Proven flatbed experience required
- Valid passport (Canada/U.S. cross-border)
- Clean CVOR / driver abstract
- Able to read and write English (French is an asset)
- Must live in or near North Bay / Mattawa area
- Must be able to enter the United States
- Strong understanding of load securement and tarping
Equipment
- Manual Transmission Trucks
- ELD compliant or Exempt (depends on the truck)
- 53’ flatbed or 48’ Roll-Tite Flatbed
- Well-maintained, reliable equipment
Schedule
- Home every weekend
- Flexible start:
- Leave Sunday as standard
- Option to leave Monday (adjusted routing)
- Steady weekly mileage (~5,000 km/week average)
Pay Package
- $0.55 CAD per mile (paid on odometer miles, not PC*Miler)
- Approx. $85,000- $100,000+ yearly
- Additional pay:
- $20 loading
- $20 unloading
- $25 tarp
- $25 untarp
- $25/hour detention / waiting / hourly paid work
- $200 layover pay
- 2 weeks paid vacation
