Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. This role requires strong time management, food safety knowledge, and the ability to handle cash accurately.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent hospitality service
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Prior experience in the food industry is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Pay: $15.95-$16.50 per hour
