With a full (100%) commissioned compensation structure, there is a direct connection between your success and your take home at the end of the day. This position is ideal for a driven person whose consultative approach adds real value to our clients and their families and friends’ bereavement needs. As a Family Services Sales Representative you will:

Assist families with the entire spectrum of their bereavement needs from pre-planning funerals, cremations and cemetery services, including land and memorials.

Help families at the time of need to make the arrangements for all cemetery services.

Work with at-need families to support with the Executor Assistance Program, and partner with the funeral directors to ensure all families are properly serviced.

Generate lead sources from attending events, networking and community involvement.

Develop a deep and comprehensive knowledge of Beechwood’s products and services

Overall - meet sales targets while providing excellent service to our clients.

Experience with in-person, consultative sales and customer service (required)

Experience arranging pre-need or at-need funeral services is an asset

An ability to learn and adapt in fast moving environment (required)

A driver’s license, use of a vehicle, and valid vehicle insurance (required)

Bilingualism in English/French (required)

Fluency in another language is an asset

One of the follow licenses would would be an asset (required by end of training period)

Funeral Pre-Planning

Funeral Director – Class 1 (embalming)

Funeral Director – Class 2 (non-embalming)

Cemetery Sales Representative Certification would be an asset (required by end of training period)
Family Services Sales Representatives have a rotation of duty days when they must be on-site during the regular business operating hours (Monday to Friday). There are additional monthly duty schedules for evening and weekend availability. Sales representatives are encouraged to build community connections and attend events outside regular business hours. You will have the flexibility to schedule your working hours on non-duty days around client meetings and events.
Family Services Sales Representatives' earn commission and bonuses based on sales, as such earning are variable. The first six-months of employment are a training period with an annual salary of $45,000, and are not eligible for commission or bonuses. After 1 year in the position, most sales representatives earn between $100,000 and $150,000 annually.
