This position ccovers a variety of vac truck assignments, including Straight Vac and Septic Vac work, with cross-training available on other equipment as business and project needs require. Travel to client sites is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive, operate, and perform a variety of vac truck duties
- Work with septic systems as required
- Work in remote locations for extended periods
- Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, making safety the top priority at all times
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Assist with job site preparation and equipment staging
- Maintain and update electronic driver logbooks
- Communicate with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day
- Perform minor repairs and coordinate with the mechanic group
What You Bring to Avenge:
- Valid Class 3Q licence with a clean abstract
- Mechanically inclined, able to perform minor repairs as needed
- Winter driving experience
- Experience with chain-ups on an 18-speed
- Certifications: First Aid, H2S Alive, ESC Fall Protection, ESC Confined Space, CSO, GD201 (BCCGA)
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills, sound judgment, and decision-making ability
- Ability to meet customer site requirements with a focus on service excellence
- Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
- Above-average computer and app skills for daily electronic forms, e-logs, and safety compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass company and client drug and alcohol testing requirements
Preferred Operating Experience:
- Hydro Vac Truck: 3 years
- Working Septic: 2 years
- Straight Vac: 3 years
- Working in remote locations: 1 year
