Job Description – Program Worker
Reports To: Team Leader at Residence
Part time - 24 hours/week
Tuesday 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Wednesday 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Thursday 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Friday 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Program Worker to provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities in a residential home setting. This role involves assisting residents in developing and maintaining daily living skills, with the goal of enhancing their overall quality of life and promoting independence within a supportive living environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with common software applications.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Experience and competence in crisis intervention and response.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe and confident driving record.
- Must provide a clear Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Must carry a minimum of $2 million in vehicle liability insurance.

Wages:
Permanent part time positions $17.89 – $22.25 - dependent on education/experience
Pay: $17.25-$21.45 per hour
