Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring food safety standards and sanitation protocols are maintained
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front of house and kitchen operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly and efficiently
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or hospitality roles is highly desirable
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment
