TITLE: Maintenance Technician / Welder
LOCATION: On-site, 70 Addiscott Court, Markham, L6G 1A6 Ontario
JOB TYPE: Full time, 8-hour shift. 40-hours work schedule per week, Monday to Friday
SALARY: Starting at 30,00$ per hour.

YOUR MANDATE
We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician with experience in stick welding (SMAW) and basic mechanical repairs to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and reliable work environment.
Your tasks will include :
- Perform stick welding and basic fabrication projects.
- Complete routine maintenance on lift trucks (forklifts), including oil changes and basic servicing.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment as needed.
- Assist with preventive maintenance and general shop repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow Sustana’s rules and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience with stick welding (SMAW).
- Basic knowledge of mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Forklift/lift truck maintenance (oil changes and routine service).
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
