Staff Plus is hiring an experienced Assemblers for a manufacturing facility in Paris, ON
This hands-on position involves building retail signage and display products using plastic, acrylic, vinyl, wood-based materials and other substrates. You will work from drawings and production instructions to prepare materials, assemble components and check completed products for accuracy and quality.
Pay Rate: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
Shifts Available:
Day Shift
Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Afternoon Shift
Monday to Thursday, 3:15 p.m.-1:15 a.m.

What You’ll Do
- Assemble retail signs, displays and related manufactured products
- Prepare components by measuring, marking, cutting and positioning materials
- Fabricate parts using acrylic, plastic and other production materials
- Apply vinyl graphics, paint and other finishes to a variety of surfaces
- Follow drawings, specifications and job instructions throughout the assembly process
- Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic equipment and manufacturing machinery safely
- Fit and fasten components to create completed signage products
- Identify and resolve basic fabrication or assembly problems
- Inspect finished work for appearance, dimensions, construction and overall quality
- Confirm completed products meet the required customer and production specifications
- Complete individual assignments independently and contribute to larger team projects
- Keep tools, materials and work areas organized
- Follow established safety procedures and report workplace hazards
- Support production demands by working overtime when required
What You Bring
- Three to five years of related experience in signage, plastics or manufacturing
- Experience assembling or fabricating products using plastic, acrylic or wood-based materials
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic nail guns and measuring equipment
- Familiarity with plastics or woodworking machinery
- Ability to follow engineering drawings, blueprints, shop drawings and detailed work instructions
- Knowledge of signage materials and construction methods, including hardware, laminates and veneers
- Strong measuring, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to maintain accuracy while working within production deadlines
- Ability to complete tasks independently and work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work overtime when production requirements increase
- Strong awareness of workplace hazards and safe operating procedures
