Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1A and Class 3A Truck Drivers to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a crucial role in our organization, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in a safe manner.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents that occur
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or any issues that arise during transportation
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or other machinery is preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of deliveries
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
