Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management and organization
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing questions, special requests, and concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, utensils, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and quality service
- Assist in setting up dining areas before service and cleaning up after shifts
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and making change accurately
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory
