Location: Hybrid in Toronto
The total target compensation (TTC) range, including salary and target bonus, is $55,968 - $84,800. This TTC range is applicable to permanent roles only; fixed-term contract and casual roles are not eligible for annual bonus and would receive only the base salary component. The actual base salary offered within this range will be determined by the successful candidate’s skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
Empire Life is looking to hire an IT Vendor & Financial Coordinator to join our IT team! We are actively seeking candidates to fill a current, open position.

What you’ll be working on
Timely issue POs and process invoices according to due dates, contractual terms and accounting policies
Respond to requests and inquiries from internal business partners and external parties
Review and track status of vendor contracts, including dates (renewal and expiration) and required supporting documentation.
Coordinate and Support vendor risk assessments and due diligence processes, per OSFI regulations, internal policies and guidelines
Assisting with budget tracking related to vendor expenses
Prepare and maintain showback of vendor expenses
Support the design and implementation of process improvements
Other duties as assigned, including special projects
Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, agreements, and performance.
Completion of a business or accounting degree
2-3 years work experience in technology and financial disciplines
General ledger and accounts payable experience
Experience with vendor and contract management
Ability to organize and attention to detail/accuracy
Ability to think logically, analyze and solve problems
Well-developed communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
