Position Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, Commercial Sales, this role involves a mix of sales, marketing support and customer service skills. The core objectives of this role are to support the Commercial Sales, LATAM & EMEA team through lead qualification, logistics and general administration.
We’re looking for a candidate who can share monthly promotional assets to our global network, provide back up support for inbound merrithew.com web orders and customer calls in addition to delivering excellent service to Merrithew™ partners and clients.
Major responsibilities

Provide support to drive sales towards quarterly Sales Team Sales Objectives

Coordination of inbound departmental email through merrithew.com, social media, tradeshows, and order processing for commercial products

Answering in-bound customer sales calls and responding/ escalating customer issues to the Customer Care team

Maintenance of the CRM Database by updating customer records (address, email, contacts)

Managing potential leads in CRM, creating leads or opportunities and assigning to sales team for follow up

Management and coordination of orders with our EU & UK facility

Generate and distribute Sales and Inventory Reports (e.g. Sales Person Reports, Daily Sales, Monthly Promotion Sales Analysis) Saved Carts Reports and other reports as required

Covering off on Sales Managers and other Customer Service & Sales Support Coordinator’s duties during vacation time, sick leave and other out of office situations

Working on statutory holidays as directed and planned in advance
Marketing support

Provide Partner Marketing support – image requests, website reviews, events posting, requests for inventory & serial number reports, etc.

Assist in maintenance of Distributor Portal: in charge of updating price lists, product information and monthly memos on the Distributor Portal through SiteFinity.

Create and generate Team notification emails including: Monthly Promotions, New Products, In/Out of Stock items, CRM Updates, General FYIs

Assist with travel arrangements, booking external training, gift basket requests for external clients, etc.

Other duties, as assigned
Skills and qualifications
-
2+ years in a supporting role to sales and customer service teams, with logistics experience handling a range of clients

Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Excellent MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and presentation proficiency

CRM expertise with data entry and reporting

Additional languages, spoken and written, are a definite asset. Specifically, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese or French.
