Summary
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Hinton, AB. This role is vital in ensuring the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems for our diverse projects, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately install and repair electrical systems.
- Perform electrical installations and maintenance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete tasks.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using industry-standard techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work.
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed.
- Qualifications
- Valid journeyman electrician certification.
- Proven experience in industrial electrical systems.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
