Overview
Infinity Network Solutions is seeking an Accounting Administrator. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, payroll processing, and related administrative tasks. This role involves ensuring compliance with financial/accounting and HR policies, supporting employees, and maintaining accurate records for departments. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and experience in accounting functions with associated education and credentials. The role interfaces with the leadership team on day-to-day activities attending meetings as required (monthly at minimum).
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate coding and timely payments.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit cards and financial records daily.
- Maintain a cash analysis report to ensure effective cash management.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts, journal entries, and supporting documentation.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as variance analysis.
- Support monthly income statement and balance sheet analysis and reporting.
- Support procurement compliance.
- Maintain vendor master data accuracy.
- Coordinate payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll requirements.
- Work in accounting and payroll tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Humi) as well as PSA systems where required.
- Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations.
- Client communication regarding invoicing and account management activities.
- Perform associated office management tasks within the reasonable scope of the Accounting Administrator role.
- Additional reporting and supporting administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting, finance knowledge and experience in a business setting.
- Proven experience in accounting administration in an office environment.
- Proficiency in accounting and Payroll software where applicable (QuickBooks, Humi).
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and general accounting practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage confidential information.
- Meticulous, organized, and able to multitask in a demanding environment.
- As the organization grows, the ability to supervise and manage staff reports.
