Responsabilities
- Handling animals
- Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking talis, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets and castration
- Weaning
- Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
- Maintain financial and production records
- Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
- Maintain livestock performance records
- Select livestock for sale
- Maintain work records and logs
