What You'll Be Doing:
- Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving materials
- Transporting products throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Organizing and optimizing loads for safety and efficiency
- Securing loads prior to transport
- Conducting daily equipment inspections and reporting issues
- Supporting material flow, which may include off-equipment tasks and movement throughout the facility
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Following all safety procedures and operational standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of full-time forklift operating experience (required)
- Experience in a logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred
- Valid forklift license is an asset; recertification support may be available for qualified candidates
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to operate equipment in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable transportation (location is not on a bus route)
- Must successfully complete a forklift assessment
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check with no active or disqualifying offenses
Required PPE:
- SD CSA-approved 6-inch safety boots (Tool assistance support may be available for qualified candidates)
Work Environment:
- Climate-controlled facility (heated, air-conditioned)
Successful completion of a forklift test prior to receiving an offer.
