Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Steel Welder with expertise in MIG and TIG aluminum welding to join our manufacturing team. This role requires a skilled professional capable of performing precise welding tasks on heavy-duty components, ensuring high-quality standards and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various fabrication techniques, including plasma cutting and blueprint reading, to support our diverse project needs.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, weld and fit custom service bodies, decks and specialty items
- Minimum of 5 years aluminum welding experience is required
- Must be able to read detailed schematics and blueprints follow direction and complete tasks
- Use forklifts or cranes for material handling and positioning during fabrication processes
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment adhering to safety standards and protocols
- Proven experience in MIG welding, TIG welding (especially aluminum), and plasma cutting within a manufacturing or construction setting
- Welding and fitting experience a must
- We are a custom fabrication shop
- Experience welding custom truck bodies, deck, etc. is a definite asset.

Pay: $40.00-$48.00 per hour
