Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Evening Cleaner to join our team and ensure our facilities remain spotless, safe, and welcoming after regular business hours. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across various commercial spaces, performing routine cleaning tasks, and supporting facilities maintenance activities. Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 10 pm - 6 am
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment provided by Empire
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized, dusted, swept, mopped, vacuumed, and disinfected according to established standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to maintain optimal hygiene standards
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment for all staff and visitors
- Complete cleaning logs and checklists accurately to document completed tasks and any maintenance concerns
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward cleanliness and safety
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during evening hours
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, use of cleaning equipment, and safety protocols related to custodial work
