WE WILL ENROLL YOU IN THE UNION (OPERATING ENGINEERS LOCAL 793).
$23 TO $35 STARTING RATES +FULL PENSIONS +FULL BENEFITS (see note below). Full time, Permanent, Year-round (no slowdown), paid weekly, we pay for parking and Metro pass, growing company with opportunities for advancement.
We need candidates with any general trades and skilled trades experience, working at heights is an asset. Working with elevators is ideal. You do not need experience with elevators. We will enroll you in your first apprenticeship training course to be an elevating device mechanic trainee (EDM-T) and your working at heights ticket.
Driver's license and vehicle is an asset unless you will get to sites via public transit or arrange transport.
Our union agreement starts at $23, and goes up to $32 after 3 years with UCEL. Starts with full pension and benefits. If you have elevator or ironwork experience, or a lot of trades experience, you will start above $23 if offered a job. Without much relevant experience, you will start at $23 and progress to $32 after 3 years.
