About Us:
We are an education center in Richmond, BC, offering art, English, and enrichment programs for children.
We run stable seasonal camps three times per year (Spring, Summer, and Winter), which include English Public Speaking and Storytelling workshops designed to help students build confidence in communication, creativity, and writing.
We are currently hiring for our upcoming Spring Camp, with opportunities for long-term collaboration.
Student Age Groups:
- 5–7 years old
- 8–12 years old
Responsibilities:
- Teach English Speech and Storytelling and Writing classes during camp sessions.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons focused on reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Create an engaging, interactive classroom environment that encourages creativity and participation.
- Guide students in developing their own stories, improving presentation skills, and expressing ideas in English.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to individual learners.
- Teach occasional English classes during the school year, based on enrollment and student needs.
Requirements:
- Native-level English proficiency.
- Teaching experience with children preferred (classroom, workshops, tutoring, or camps).
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to engage students with creative teaching methods.
- Ability to independently plan lessons and design age-appropriate materials.
- Flexible and reliable, especially during camp periods.
- Ability to align with and effectively execute the organization’s teaching standards and requirements.
