Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated assistant brewer who shares the value of a modern hermit, wants to develop a rewarding career in the craft beer industry and is not only skilled in the art and science of brewing but is also inspired by the entrepreneurial journey and thrives on innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the brewing process from start to finish, ensuring the production of high-quality and unique craft beers.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and refine new recipes, keeping pace with industry trends and customer preferences.
- Maintain and operate brewing equipment, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
- Contribute to quality control measures and participate in tasting sessions to evaluate and improve brews.
- Assist in the development and implementation of innovative brewing techniques to distinguish Hermit's Brewery in the market.
Qualifications:
- Proven experiences as a brewer.
- Strong passion for brewing and a creative mindset to experiment with new flavors and styles.
- Knowledge of brewing equipment, fermentation processes, and quality control measures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to contribute to the growth and success of a start-up brewery.
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Brewing Science, Fermentation Science, or related field is preferred.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and handle bags of ingredients and operate brewery equipment.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team and contribute to a positive and innovative brewery culture.
