Part Time Assistant Manager

Duties
- Assist in supervising daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions and returns
- Must be available to cover a variety of position when needed
- Create and maintain monthly schedules
- Responsible for the ordering of inventory and possible pick up and set up of stock
- Supervise cashiering duties, ensuring excellent customer service and cash handling accuracy
- Lead training and development initiatives for staff to improve performance
- Monitor expenses and assist with financial reporting
- Coordinate marketing efforts to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards and store procedures
- Maintain effective communication with team members and upper managementQualifications
- Proven supervisory or team management experience in retail or similar environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to train staff on policies, procedures, and product knowledge.
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
