Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Cleaner to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our commercial facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across all areas of the building
- Conduct deep cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, walls, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or reporting repairs needed
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe working environment
- Monitor supply levels and notify management when replenishments are necessary
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and climbing ladders if necessary
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic understanding of maintenance procedures is a plus but not required
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety guidelines
Pay: $18.13-$25.00 per hour
