Duties
- Perform oil changes and lubrication services on vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles for any additional maintenance needs and communicate findings to customers.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in the sales of additional services or products based on customer needs.
- Keep accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.
- Sales skills to promote additional services or products when appropriate.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience working in a dealership environment is a plus.
- Ability to maintain equipment and perform basic troubleshooting as needed.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during service operations.
- Previous experience as a mechanic or in automotive repair is advantageous.
