About the Role
We are hiring a Co-op Marketing Assistant who wants hands-on experience in digital marketing, experiential marketing, content creation, and AI-powered marketing systems.
This role is ideal for students studying Marketing, Business, Communications, Media, or related programs who want real exposure to how modern marketing actually works, including campaign execution, brand activations, automation tools, and AI-assisted workflows.
You will work alongside experienced marketers on live client campaigns, events, and growth initiatives. This is not a shadow role. You will be involved in real projects with measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
As a Co-op Marketing Assistant, you will:
- Support digital marketing initiatives including social media scheduling, content posting, and basic performance tracking
- Assist with search engine optimization
- Help coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, and marketing tasks
- Assist with content creation including captions, short-form copy, blog outlines, and basic visuals
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Support email marketing, CRM updates, and lead tracking (training provided)
- Assist with AI-powered marketing tools and automation workflows to improve efficiency
- Help prepare internal reports, presentations, and campaign summaries
- Collaborate with internal teams on branding, promotions, and marketing systems
Preference Will Be Given to Candidates Who:
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in marketing, branding, and consumer behavior
- Show curiosity about AI tools, marketing automation, and emerging technologies
- Have basic exposure to or interest in AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, content generators, scheduling tools, or CRM platforms
- Are interested in learning workflow automation, lead management, and marketing systems
- Have experience (academic, personal, or volunteer) with social media content creation or digital campaigns
- Show interest in experiential marketing, events, and brand activations
- Are comfortable writing short-form marketing content
- Are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Communicate clearly and work well both independently and in a team
- Are familiar with tools such as Canva, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
- Bring creative ideas while remaining open to feedback and learning
