Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson specializing in Architectural Millwork and Cabinets to join our design team. This role involves creating precise technical drawings and schematics for custom millwork projects, collaborating closely with architects, designers, and construction teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, CAD software, and construction processes, with a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship through accurate technical documentation. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings for architectural millwork, cabinetry, and related custom woodwork projects using Mozaik software.
- Create schematics, shop drawings, and fabrication plans that adhere to project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project manager, leadership and manufacturing teams to ensure design intent is accurately translated into technical documentation.
- Review design concepts and modify drawings based on feedback or project changes.
- Assist in the development of construction details and assembly instructions for manufacturing.
- Ensure all drawings comply with safety regulations, building codes, and client requirements.
- Maintain organized digital files of all drafting documents for easy access and revision control.
Skills
- Proficiency in Mozaik and VCarve.
- Strong drafting skills with experience in schematics and technical documentation specific to architectural millwork and cabinetry.
- Knowledge of construction processes related to custom woodwork fabrication.
- Ability to interpret architectural plans and translate them into detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Prior experience in construction, joinery/millwork industries is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
