Job description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Bicycle Mechanic for our busy repair shop in Parkdale Toronto.
Ideally looking for someone with at least 2-5 years experience in the industry in a leadership or master mechanic position.
This position requires you to run the day to day operations of our local bike shop including bike repairs, sales, quoting, inventory management, part selection, ordering parts, basic marketing initiatives and overseeing jr. mechanics workmanship.
This is a full time position, which can start as a part time role if you require.
Living in or near Parkdale is extremely valuable.

Job duties
include but are not limited to:
- Performing full tuneups & minor repairs
- Flat tires
- Customer quoting, and dealing directly with customer in regards to their repairs
- Bicycle sales and product knowledge
- Overseeing quality of workmanship of less experience mechanics and apprentices along with providing basic training
Qualifications
- Bicycle Mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency with Bicycle hand tools and power tools
- Leadership experience
- Sales skills
- Previous Bicycle shop service experience
- Plus if you have any relevant certifications in bicycle repair or maintenance
