Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization and organization standards are met
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including exams, restorations, orthodontics, and pediatric treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), utilizing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools when applicable
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Dentrix ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
- Support front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling administrative tasks as a dental receptionist when needed
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment in compliance with health regulations and infection control protocols
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or Certified Dental Assistant with active certification
- Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Dentrix for record management
- Knowledge of Dental procedures is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health
- Experience assisting with dental radiography (X-ray techniques) and CAD tools for digital impressions or imaging
- Prior exposure to dental assisting in a fast-paced clinic environment that handles diverse cases including pediatrics and orthodontics is preferred

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
