Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive in-home physiotherapy assessments and treatments
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on strength, balance, mobility, pain management, and functional independence
- Provide evidence-based treatment and exercise programs
- Educate clients and caregivers to support safe mobility and independence at home
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
Required:
- Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
- Current registration as a Physiotherapist in Nova Scotia
- Valid Canadian driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle for community travel
Preferred:
- Experience working with older adults
- Experience in community, home care, or neurological rehabilitation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, client-centred care
- Interest in ongoing professional development
